The Akron Barberton Veterinary clinic is conveniently located South of I-76/ 224 at 1111 Wooster Rd. N in Barberton, Ohio. Our veterinary hospital is located adjacent to Fa-Ray's Restaurant. We feature three examination rooms, an in-house laboratory, as well as a fully stocked veterinary specific pharmacy.

For many years, the Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic was owned and operated by Dr. Mick. Dr. Mick subsequently sold his practice to Dr. Thomas Saurer, who was also the owner of the Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic. In 2007, the Orrville Veterinary Clinic purchased Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic along with the Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic.
After purchasing the Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic, we quickly expanded the operating hours to offer service all five business days of the week, Monday through Friday. We have also expanded some of the services that we are able to offer, due to our affiliation with our four other locations. We are proud to serve the Akron, Barberton, Norton, and surrounding areas of Summit and Stark counties.
We provide many services, which are all available on an out-patient basis. These services include: immunizations, preventive health care, parasite control, behavior consultations, routine laboratory services and testing, as well as many other services. We are also able to offer a wide range of veterinary surgical services at our other four locations. These surgical services including ovariohysterectomy (spay), castration (neuter), professional dental care, tumor and lump removal, orthopedic surgeries, as well as many other surgeries.
