Engagement Coordinator

Amber joined our team in May 2026 as our Engagement Coordinator, combining her lifelong passion for animals with her expertise in education and public engagement. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Zoo and Wildlife Biology from Malone University and will complete her Master's degree in Biology with a concentration in Public Engagement from Miami University in December.

Although she's newer to the veterinary field, Amber has spent most of her life working with animals. As a child, she dreamed of becoming either a veterinarian or a zookeeper, and her love for wildlife eventually led her to discover a passion for science communication and education. Today, she enjoys helping clients better understand veterinary medicine by creating informative, engaging social media content and educational resources.

Amber's favorite part of her role is connecting with pet owners through social media and developing posts and infographics that make animal health information accessible while showcasing the exceptional care our team provides. She has a special interest in client education and believes that informed pet owners are empowered to make the best decisions for their pets.

Outside of work, Amber loves hiking, reading, thrifting, visiting Walt Disney World, and enjoying a great cup of coffee. She's also SCUBA certified and has a special love for marine life—especially manatees and sea turtles. At home, she is completely obsessed with her cat, Roman.
