Practice Manager

With over 17 years of experience in the animal industry and 12 years in the veterinary field, April brings dedication, leadership, and heart to everything she does. She has proudly served as Practice Manager for Veterinary Wellness Partners since October 2023. April is passionate about creating an environment where team members can grow, develop new skills, and become the very best in their roles. Training and professional development are especially important to her, and she takes pride in helping others advance in veterinary medicine.

While much of her work happens behind the scenes, April’s favorite moments are when she can step away from her desk to support the medical team—especially when it involves feeding kitties Churu to help make their visit a little less stressful and a lot more positive.

April’s love for animals began on a dairy farm in North Dakota, where she worked early in her career and discovered her passion for animal care. That experience helped shape the path that led her into veterinary medicine.

At home, she has two black and white domestic shorthair cats, Elsie and Moo, who keep her life entertaining and full of personality. Outside of work, April enjoys baking and volunteering in her community.
