Kayli was diagnosed at the age of 8 with ganglioneuroblastoma. Now, at age 19 she is fighting her disease for the fourth time. She has endured 4 major abdominal surgeries, removal of 5 tumors, chemo, radiation and countless procedures over the past 11 years. She currently has multiple tumors and is stage IV. She just completed a stem cell harvest and is heading to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a radioactive therapy that will put her in isolation for a few weeks. One of the highlights of her days is her dog, Baxter. While she is getting treatment at Akron Children's, he is a regular at doggie day care at the Orrville Pet Spa.
