Dr. Wenger, after holding the role of President of VWP for aver 20 years, has turned over the presidency to Dr Gabe Middleton and remains the CEO of Veterinary Wellness Partners, Inc. His veterinary interests include food animal medicine, food animal surgery and small animal orthopedic surgery. Dr. Wenger currently spends more of his time focused on the business and management side of VWP. Dr. Wenger grew up on a dairy farm in Dalton, Ohio, and joined the Orrville Veterinary Clinic in 1981 after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and traveling. He and his wife, Mim, have 4 married children and 12 grandchildren. His favorite activity is spending time with his grandchildren (and golf). He also serves in various capacities within his local church.
