KARI

Veterinary Assistant

Kari has been a valued member of the Orrville Veterinary Clinic team for the past three years. She earned her Associate's Degree in Dairy Science from The Ohio State University and has a passion for working with dairy herds.

One of Kari's favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is that no two days are the same. She enjoys traveling to a variety of farms throughout the day, working with different species, and helping producers care for their animals. Growing up on and continuing to work on her family's 200-cow dairy farm gives her a unique appreciation for the dairy industry, and she enjoys visiting other dairies while also having the opportunity to work with a wide range of animals.

Outside of work, Kari owns a few Holstein cows of her own, along with two dogs—Mavis, a Basset Hound, and Poppy, a Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix. She also stays busy chasing after her energetic two-year-old son. In her free time, Kari enjoys gardening and landscaping.
